To comply with the trend of energy saving and to fulfill the future demands of low energy-consumption products, MEAN WELL has successively introduced HRP-150/ HRPG-150 (150W) and HRP-600/ HRPG-600 (600W) series of miniature high performance enclosed type power supplies. And right now, the new 300W models, HRP-300 and HRPG-300 are available.
Featuring with high operating efficiency, miniaturization, energy-saving and 5 years warranty, HRP (G) family is the most high-end product in MEAN WELL’s enclosed type power supplies series. Built-in active PFC function to fulfill the requirement of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current, HRP (G)-300 reduce the size by 30.7% and extend the warranty from 3 years to 5 years comparing to our first generation of enclosed type PFC product SP-320 series (320W).
HRP-300(basic models) and HRPG-300 (fully equipped models) are designed for fitting 1U low profile (41mm) rack chassis. Possessing up to 89% of high efficiency, it can be cooled by the built-in long life DC fan from -30℃ to +50℃ ambient temperature under full load condition, even up to +70℃ by derating the output load. In addition, HRP(G)-300 series equip with the function of 300VAC input surge immunity for 5 seconds, which can reduce the damages caused by the unstable AC main. To compensate for wiring voltage drops, remote sense function is built-in to fix up to 0.5V of voltage drop. Protection functions include short circuit, overload (constant current mode), over voltage and over temperature.
To fulfill the emerging trend of eco-design concept and the requirement of ENERGY STAR and EuP norm, MEAN WELL specially offer the HRPG-300 models with additional remote ON/OFF control and 5V/0.3A standby output to achieve the goal of “no load power consumption <0. 5W”. Using our HRPG-300 should help designers achieve those regulations easily. Both HRP-300 and HRPG-300 comply with global certificates per UL/ CUL/ TUV/CB/CE and can greatly guarantee your safety. Suitable applications of HRP-300 and HRPG-300 are general electronic application, factory automation, LED moving sign, test and measurement equipment, and all usage that requires low no load power consumption.
