Responding to novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) MEAN WELL Group production adjustment notice(2020/02/17)

Affected by the Novel Coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) epidemic situation, China's Lunar New Year holidays was forced to extend. MEAN WELL Guangzhou Huadu factory and Suzhou factory, after cooperating with the local government to implement the relevant epidemic prevention measures, were successfully approved the resumption of work on February 10, 2020 (Monday), while the attendance rate of workforce has also been increased day by day. Affected by the difference between the upstream supply chain and the third-party factory, each MEAN WELL Group factory has the following instructions for the recent production operations:
  1. MEAN WELL cooperates with local government to implement a "rigorous and gradual return to work" mode, to gradually improve production capacity under the condition of ensuring epidemic prevention and safety.
  2. All received orders are being reviewed for material availability and production schedule. Delivery schedule may be adjusted, and MEAN WELL sales representative will notify relevant customers individually.
  3. The production lead time for new orders is 45 days, and it is expected gradually return to 30 days by Q2 of 2020. However, if there is immediate inventory or production is ahead of schedule, MEAN WELL will deliver shipment sooner.
