Now, MEAN WELL proudly introduces a next-generation lineup with 8:1 ultra-wide input DC-DC converter modules:
Single output: SCWN03W8 / SCWN06W8 / SCW08W8 / SCW12W8 / SCW20W8
Dual output: DCWN03W8 / DCWN06W8 / DCW08W8 / DCW12W8 / DCW20W8
The new 8:1 input series support a wide 9~75Vdc input range, covering conversional 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc sources with any single model. This eliminates the need for multiple input variants (e.g., 9~18Vdc, 9~36Vdc, 36~72Vdc) found in the legacy 2:1 input series. The 8:1 input simplified model selection, reduced inventory SKUs and provided greater design flexibility. To ensure a smooth transition from the older models, the new generation 5 adopts a Pin-to-Pin compatible DIP24 with the current series, allowing for drop-in replacement without any PCB redesign.
