MEAN WELL Group Releases 2024 Sustainability Report Focusing on ESG Practices and SDG Commitments to Progress Together with You

As a global leader in standard power supply solutions, MEAN WELL Group remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainable development. Every two years, the Group publishes a comprehensive Sustainability Report, and the latest 2024 edition has been officially released on Earth Day. This report centers on corporate sustainability management and the three pillars of ESG—Environmental, Social, and Governance—while aligning with nine key UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It offers a structured review of the Group’s efforts and achievements in sustainability from 2023 to 2024.
Recognizing the power of corporate influence, MEAN WELL continues to enhance energy efficiency in its products and adopt circular economy strategies. We have implemented computerized, standardized, and transparent management systems to effectively monitor raw material consumption, waste management, and carbon emissions. In 2024, MEAN WELL was honored with several prestigious awards, including the CommonWealth Talent Sustainability Award, the CommonWealth Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility Award, and the National Sustainable Development Award from the National Sustainability Council of the Executive Yuan. These accolades underscore our exceptional performance in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
In the area of social responsibility, MEAN WELL places strong emphasis on meaningful engagement with both employees and the broader community. We actively promote the transition toward green, smart, and energy-efficient manufacturing processes. Through various social contribution initiatives, we strive to spread the values of sustainability throughout society. The "SDG Sustainability Exhibition," launched in 2024 and running through 2027, aims to raise awareness and support for the UN SDGs across all sectors. In addition, MEAN WELL will launch a five-year ecological initiative at the end of 2024—"Ocean Forest: Protecting the Tamsui River from Shezidao Wetlands." This project will focus on riverbank conservation, biodiversity preservation, and environmental education, fostering collaboration across our supply chain and partners to bring visible improvements to the Tamsui River basin.
