MEAN WELL Group, a global leader in standard power supply solutions, partnered with its distributor Yung Ghu Technology on December 11 to jointly host the “Yung Ghu Technology – MEAN WELL Product Demonstration Site & Smart and Energy-Saving Solutions Showcase.” Through hands-on demonstrations and real-world application scenarios, the event comprehensively presented MEAN WELL’s system-level solutions in smart lighting and energy integration, attracting a wide range of industry partners and end users.

Centered on the theme of “Intelligent Connectivity and Green Energy Efficiency,” the showcase integrated DALI-2 intelligent lighting control with energy-saving and energy-generation management platforms to enable systematic smart operation. Leveraging the high level of integration between international-standard DALI and ModBus communication architectures, the system enables precise control of lighting brightness, scene settings, and site management.

The event also incorporated smart energy monitoring and power dispatch systems developed by GreenWiz, demonstrating real-time power monitoring and scheduling capabilities. This integrated solution delivers high efficiency, stability, and controllability across overall power usage. Beyond improving lighting energy management, it helps users monitor and optimize energy utilization, reduce energy losses, and achieve energy-saving and carbon-reduction goals, aligning with international standards for ESG and sustainable development.

During the showcase, MEAN WELL presented its latest smart lighting and energy solutions, including the NTN-5K off-grid power inverter (Link), the BIC-2200 bidirectional power supply(Link), and the DLC-02 lighting controller (Link), which supports the latest DALI-2 communication standard.
At the Yung Ghu Technology demonstration site, the DLC-02 DALI-2 controller was also integrated with multiple sensors independently developed and manufactured by Riko. Through unified communication interfaces, the system comprehensively supports applications across smart homes, commercial lighting, and building automation. The live demonstrations clearly illustrated real-world lighting and energy integration scenarios, enabling attendees to experience the complete system firsthand and gain practical insights into applications in homes, offices, factories, and various commercial environments.
