Centered around MEAN WELL, a global leader in standard power supplies, as the center, the SDG Group — comprising PowerNex, SHARE WELL, and the MEAN WELL Foundation — grandly hosted the “2026 SDG Group Spring Gathering” today (February 20, the fourth day of the Lunar New Year). The event marked the Group’s official entry into a new era of brand growth.
The celebration opened with a vibrant and energetic lion dance performance. SDG Group Founder, Mr. Jerry Lin; Chairman of MEAN WELL, Mr. Ted Cheng; Chairman of PowerNex, Mr. Alex Tsai; and SDG Group Chief Sustainability Officer, Mr. Patrick Wang, and more were all present to celebrate the occasion, demonstrating the strong unity of the Group’s leadership team.

Continuing the tradition of the Spring Gathering established in 2021, this year’s event was held for the first time at the newly inaugurated “PowerNex International Headquarters Building.” The celebration was simultaneously connected via global livestream with overseas offices in Guangzhou, Suzhou, Europe, and the United States, jointly welcoming the Lunar New Year. The event symbolized the Group’s official launch of a new strategic chapter.
During the gathering, Founder Jerry Lin presented PowerNex with an ESG Corporate Handshake Bronze Sculpture, symbolizing trust and responsibility. In his remarks, he stated:
“The inauguration of PowerNex’s headquarters signifies that the Group is ready to embrace broader challenges. It represents not only corporate succession, but also our commitment and aspirations for a sustainable future.”
Chairman Alex Tsai of PowerNex expressed:
“We are deeply grateful for the Founder’s continued guidance and support throughout our journey. PowerNex will work in unity and remain mission-driven to generate synergistic value for the SDG Group.”
