The SDG Group organized the annual New Product & Application Seminar on August 17th at MEAN WELL headquarters. The primary aim of the seminar was to foster collaboration among industry peers dedicated to SDGs, enabling the interchange of resources and the exploration of innovative ideas. The event had dozens of Taiwanese distributors participating both in-person and online.
During the event's first half, product managers and technical service engineers presented highlights of the year, including new products and cutting-edge power technology applications. Users could stay updated on SDG Group's latest product information through the monthly 15th update of the virtual EXPO. The second half included practical demonstrations of enclosed-type, LED drivers, 3+N products, and rack system power solutions, promoting one-stop power solutions. Finally, the after-sales service center discussed enhancements to their Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) repair services.
At the seminar, our technical service engineers expertly guided our partners in hands-on demonstrations, impressively showcasing the seamless integration of the DLC-02 intelligent lighting controller with the soon-to-be-launched DALI 2 touch wall switch by PowerNex Precision. Additionally, the technical service team showcased the forthcoming NTN-5000 series bidirectional inverter, set to launch in Q1 of the following year. This was paired with the BIC-2200 Bidirectional Grid-tied Inverter. The demonstration showcased high-power bidirectional charging, discharging, and UPS backup. It highlighted the application differences between the two product lines, enabling distributors to target customer segments more precisely.
Lastly, the event showcased the representative NCP-3200 series, which can be directly paired with the MEAN WELL Multi-industry General-purpose Smart Controller CMU2. This pairing can be combined with parallel 19-inch rack cabinets to create intelligent cabinets with a capacity of over 128 kW. The event also previewed the upcoming SHP-30K series power supply, designed to stack with PowerNex Precision's 19-inch Rack Cabinets (15U/22U/30U) to form larger wattage system power supplies or chargers. It caters to the needs of power electronics, communication, energy systems, and equipment users.
After the Product and Technology Seminar, attendees shared market insights and deepened their understanding of industry trends and product applications. Despite economic and market challenges, SDG Group is well-prepared to collaboratively create the SDG industry value network with partners, pursuing excellence and heading towards the future.
